I began my work with the Shreveport Aquarium as an Educator in February of 2020. Soon after joining the team I was promoted into a management role which allowed me to be involved with many of the daily operations of the Aquarium. Primarily I served as the Education Coordinator, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive guest experience, as well as hiring, training, and managing the Educators working the floor.
Seahorse & Pipefish Nursery Exhibit
Designed and authored exhibit signage for the Seahorse & Pipefish Nursery installed at the Shreveport Aquarium in 2022.
Aquademy
A self guided educational adventure through the Shreveport Aquarium, designed to supplement science learning for virtual students (grades: K-6) in the Fall of 2020.
